For secure eCommerce, the Cardholder Authentication Verification Value (CAVV) validates information provided by a customer at the time of the transaction. The CAVV Results Code contains the Visa or Discover Cardholder Authentication Verification Value Results Code or the American Express Verification Value (AEVV) Validation Results.
